Artificial Intelligence in Drug Discovery

Overview

Provides a comprehensive understanding of the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in drug discovery in pharmaceutical sciences. It covers cheminformatics, machine learning, deep learning, and their applications for small molecule and biologics drug design and discovery. Students will gain both a general understanding and hands-on experience of AI applications in drug discovery in pharmaceutical sciences.

  • Credit(s): 3
  • Course Format: Asynchronous
  • Required: Yes.
  • Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of biology and chemistry, foundational understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and programming (preferably in Python).
